In order to minimize the impact of the increased costs on students, UEL continues to offer scholarships, attractive early payment discounts and affordable payment plans. In Fall 2022, returning students who register for 3 or more 3-credit modules and complete their payment by the end of early registration (August 13, 2022) will receive a 10% fee waiver. As usual, students are encouraged to seek external financing options if they are unable to pay in full by the end of the normal registration period. However, students who are facing challenges securing external financing options may utilize payment plan Options A or B. Option AOption BRETURNING STUDENTS: Pay in full for 3 or more 3 credit modules and receive a 10% discount. Discount is not applicable to the Miscellaneous fees, it is pro-rated to $4,666.67 for Summer Semester. RETURNING STUDENTS: 40% of Total Module Cost before the close of normal registration. Remaining 60% must be paid by repayment deadline, if not, unfulfilled commitments will result in financial holds/ restrictions. Finance charge of 12% is applicable if payment is not made by the repayment deadline. The late registration fee is $3,500 JMD.
