Again, these records will span the last 30 years. Where a practice has not existed over that time, any missing records will be replaced with an average time per hour, taken from the average of all other contributing practices. Each practice will receive a rating out of 5 to indicate how efficient they are. The 20% of practices with the most patients seen per hour will receive a 5, the next 20% a 4, and so on until the practices with the lowest number of patients being seen per hour receive a 1. Practices that do not provide data will receive a 0. These rankings will be made public as part of a government commitment to transparency.
