Everyone in his little Midwestern hometown watches and cheers for local high school sports. Danny has been the starting quarterback for the football squad for the past year. In his final season, he hopes the team will win the state championship. This has always been his goal, and he has been scouted for a college scholarship for the past three years. This year, he aspires to be named captain due to his well-known skill on the field. At the end of the previous school year, however, a new pupil moved into the area. His football team from a school in a neighbouring state had him as quarterback. He is bigger, stronger, and faster than Danny, and he also intends to try out for the starting quarterback position. Danny’s teammates and close pals have been using performance-enhancing drugs and have offered them to him. As linebackers, his pals have gained over 20 pounds of muscle, decreased their body fat percentage, and enhanced their strength and endurance testing. Now, with a new player in town and heightened competition, Danny has resorted to using anabolic steroids. After four months of use, Danny has gained 21 pounds of muscle mass. He is more muscular and defined. He can run faster, train harder, throw the football longer, and has a greater sense of vitality. He like his new self, although he experiences headaches and mood swings as a result. His parents and coach were wary of his lack of self-control and quick temper. His parents have driven 100 miles to bring him to the clinic despite his denial of substance abuse. Danny admits to you that he utilises Nandrolone. Examination reveals that Danny has anaemia and itchy skin. He consented to accompany his parents because he felt fat tissue rather than muscle under his nipples. Danny refuses to stop taking steroids because he believes doing so would mean giving up his goal.
