Question Answered step-by-step I am having a hard time. I need to decide between Hedonic happiness… I am having a hard time. I need to decide between Hedonic happiness or Eudaimonic happiness for each person’s response to each question. These are the responses Individual 1What makes me happy. – Knowing when I wake up, I have a job to go to, a home to come to after work, with a family inside it. Would you say you are living “the good life?”- Yes I wake up everyday and have a lot of love and laughter in my life. Creating memories with my family. Especially my kids and my grand son Would you say you are living the good life? I would say that I’m living a dream others wish for. I live in the most beautiful state there is and I get to be a stay at home mom and spend as much money as I want. If you could make any changes that would make you happier, what would it be?Go back to school and get a nursing degree (I think I’m too old now) and walk into a plastic surgeons office and tell them to fix my body after my 7 kids and give me huge boobs Individual 3What makes me happy? Having the freedom to come and go as I wish.Would you say you are living the good life? I’m not sure what would be considered the “good life’. But for me, it’s having two wonderful sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law, 3 gorgeous granddaughters, and 5 of the best great grandchildren anyone could have and a husband who would go to the ends of the earth to make me happy (and I would do the same) as well as a roof over my head, food in the frig and pantry, gas in my car, air conditioning and heat. I have so much more in my life than my mother did at my age. I am grateful for that every day.If you could make any changes that would make you happier, what would they be? Well I guess I wish there was a pill that would make me remember better. Other than that, I would like my husband to retire, buy a small RV and travel all over the country. Individual 4Being with people I love makes me happy. Also sleep. I’d say My life is good but I’m not living the good life… yet. That point will come when I’m not living paycheck to paycheck. And I don’t think I’d change anything. This long ass journey and all my trauma brought me to where I am. And I’m happy. Individual 5What makes me happy. Experiences, spending time with friends and family and acts of kindness. Would I say I am living the good life and why? Yes, I am alive, I am healthy and I am comfortable. What I mean by comfortable is that I am fortune not to be struggling in any excessive way. If I could make any changes to be happier what would they be? Life is change. I hope that the future does hold changes that make me happier but realistically I know that some will make me feel differently and that’s okay. We need contrast in order to appreciate those happy feeling or moments. Social Science Psychology PSY 225 225 Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
