Could you tell me how the WWII bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki…
Question Answered step-by-step Could you tell me how the WWII bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki… Could you tell me how the WWII bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki affected the culture today? How did the bombs affect Japanese views on nuclear power and potential radiation sickness from the Fukushima reactor disaster?Does their tendency to gloss over the impact on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japanese schools today cause them to be dismissive of Fukushima’s “radiation brain moms,” who developed radiation monitoring organizations in response to Fukushima? So, from my basic understanding, WWII ended in September 1945 after the bombs dropped. It caused Japanese imperialist attitudes to quickly shift from warmongering and trying to acquire land, to basically culturally castrating the warring desires of the people. It seems like this caused the Japanese to denounce war and teach that war is bad today. I know that the American occupation of Japan shortly after the nuclear bombs dropped, led to a new form of government about two years later. I guess for some cultural reason I don’t understand, they are publically very dismissive of any wrongdoings or seriousness of radiation that happened after Fukushima.. Could you please tell me if I am on the right track? History World History HIST 1002 Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
