He also has expressive dysphasia and dysphagia. The expressive dysphasia makes it difficult for John to communicate. The dysphagia affects John's swallowing and he is on a soft diet with thickened fluids.John is dependent upon support workers for all activities of daily living (ADL'S) . This is concerning due to the fact John has heart disease and high blood pressure.John does have urinary incontinence and at this time is taking antibiotics for a urinary tract infection.John had always been an active and social man, he loved playing darts and fishing.
