Question Answered step-by-step Description of the scenario/role play to be observed: DorothyDorothy is 89 years old and lives in her own home alone, as her husband passed away some time ago. She has recently had hip surgery and recovered well but must use a walking- stick at all times for the foreseeable future. She is concerned if she has future falls, how she would get help if this occurred. She has also been reassessed for her driving licence, and due to the hip surgery and a peripheral sight issue she is now unable to drive. This now prevents her from being able to do her weekly grocery shop and attend her sewing group. Her home has stairs at the front and back entrances and Dorothy is now finding it difficult in accessing her home. Dorothy cooks for herself, showers and dresses herself and is in good mental health. She does however find cleaning her house and maintaining her garden increasing tiring and challenging. Dorothy loves her home and it holds many fond memories for her, she really wants to stay in her home Instructions to the student:•Please read the scenario and research options for Dorothy, collect and bring in information you feel will be relevant for him to the assessment for your use.
