Question Answered step-by-step Throughout my teaching career in general; I thought that I had… Throughout my teaching career in general; I thought that I had already identified my glows and grows as an educator however, my student teaching experience has shown me otherwise. My strengths consist of me having great organizational skill, being able to uplift a consistent schedule or routine, and creating structure among the students in the classroom. My improvements before student teaching was that I needed to speak louder and use what is known as “my teacher voice” more often. However, taking full control of an ICT classroom with three other adults I believe the dynamic of it is slightly tough than a classroom consisting of just two teachers. I find that the co-teachers clash and have moments where they are looking at one another in confusion. In the beginning, this setting made me shy to expose my full potential as a teacher because the personalities and teaching beliefs and methods are different between myself and the other three educators in the classroom I didn’t want to add to it. I think that teaching along others who are teaching at the same time is something I need to overcome with speaking louder and making sure to stay focused on my group or the section I am teaching in.I personally believe all teachers have different ways of teaching as students have different learning styles and as long as we place the children’s needs and education first that is all that matters.
