Question Answered step-by-step This course is designated as a LaGuardia Humanitarian Initiative… This course is designated as a LaGuardia Humanitarian Initiative/Experiential Learning course in CUNYFirst, which means that you are required to demonstrate an application of your classroom knowledge in partnership with LHI’s 2021-2022 global partner, Malala Fund, a global organization founded by Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai. You will be asked to complete a brief survey at the end of the semester, when partiapnts will receive a certificate, digital badge, and career counseling to document your experiential learning experience. The Aztec concept of happiness neltiliztli translates as rootedness, truth, and goodness. The action project will provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate critical reasoning by identifying, analyzing, and responding to real-world problems through civic engagement. Engaging in philosophical reflection and discussions help one translate classroom learning to advocate, educate, and support their communities through inquiry and problem-solving. ConnectChose one goal to focus on.
