Question Think about causal relationships that you might have experienced… Think about causal relationships that you might have experienced first hand. From your readings that causal relationships are instances when two things, say X and Y, are related in some manner. For example, last night I stayed up way too late to watch the royal rumble and as a result, I am tired this morning. I’m sure some of you have mistakenly, or on purpose, have done something similar. Also think about quantitative (nomothetic) and qualitative (idiographic) explanations of causality. Both have a time and place in criminal justice research, but based on your readings what do you think is used by criminal justice researchers more frequently? Do you think this differs in your personal life? In other words, do you make causal inferences based on quantitative data or qualitative data, or both? Do you think it differs in your professional life?Search entries or author Law Social Science Criminal Justice CJ 709 Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
