from intro to conclusion) and should demonstrate the concepts and structure discussed in the Week 3

narration or description. Your paper should also demonstrate an ability to use multiple sentence structures
and vocabulary correctly. “A” papers will be relatively free of grammatical or spelling errors. Papers are
graded with full letter grades (no pluses or minuses) and adhere to the departmental guidelines for
awarding each grade as shown in the chart in the opening pages of your packet. Remember that the
average of your three short papers counts for 50% of your course grade, so work accordinglyThis paper
must be your own, original work composed only for this class. It must not have been created for another
course (including a previous attempt at Comp I) or otherwise submitted for academic credit in any way. In
case of plagiarism (including multiple submissions), intentional or not, your essay will receive a 0 and you
could fail the course.
