From a business standpoint, identifying those behaviors and profiles significant to the business can give you a better understand of your customer and how to better engage with them (Gerber, S. 2018). Some potential behaviors could be geographical data, demographical, and social media data. For the project analyzing these specific behaviors can give information in terms of what target market would benefit the most from the database. The data that would need to be gathered would be the readmission rates observe within the last year of patients in local hospitals. Information would also need to be gathered of specific diseases or reasons behind those readmission rates. Specifically, information of diseases including diabetes, strokes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and Alzheimer's. These diseases are among the tope 10 conditions contributing to the mortality rate in the United States. The information would be collected through multiple resources. The resources would primarily be through websites such as CDC, CMS.org, and local health care facilities databases. Information in regard to how potential patients determine their hospital of choice of care would also need to be collected. Hospitals want to be able to market themselves in a good light, having a high readmission rate may deter some potential patients from attending. The data collected would be used to allow hospitals to have a better understanding of what diseases contribute to such high readmissions and may even lead to further studies to help prevent them.READ THE ABOVE.
