Burnout is a series of work-related signs and symptoms, generally seen in people who have no history of mental health or mental health problems; Depending on the work environment, this usually occurs when caregivers wait too long, causing them to fear and hate themselves. job. Nursing staff exposed to such harsh working conditions often experience physical symptoms such as headaches and muscle tension (Siela, Twibell, and Keller, 2008). Burnout syndrome can lead to decreased quality of care, decreased patient satisfaction, and increased volatility (Zarei et al., 2019). The morbidity and mortality of the treated patients are high; therefore, due to the complexity of daily life and the high expectations and responsibilities of multi-level nurses, working in the intensive care unit may be stressful (Zarei et al., 2019). There is a serious shortage of nurses in our department, and the number of patients continues. Because of these problems, we have a large number of patients. Therefore, my colleagues and I are under tremendous pressure because we cannot provide high-quality and efficient care. After all, we don’t have time. When caring for these critically ill patients, there is no time to establish a nurse-patient relationship. The most suitable theory for caring for patients under these stressful conditions is Watson’s theory. So I think this theory is beneficial to the treatment of patients in the intensive care unit (Persky, Nelson, Watson & Bent, 2008).
