Because the hospital is primarily a children's hospital, it is difficult to locate employees who are well educated and have extensive expertise in the area of pediatrics. The hospital is very reliant on the support of the local community. This might be a disadvantage since if the community is unable to support the hospital, it will be difficult for it to continue operating.the hospital does not have the resources necessary to carry out its strategic plan objectives. During the previous ten years, the number of employees has been lowered. There is a scarcity of medical personnel to care for the youngsters, and those that are available have been working more than 40 hours each week. Nurses get very little wages in comparison to other professions. The nursing staff at the hospital saw a financial cut in a particular year. The availability of nurses has been greatly curtailed as a result of this. Nurses will also be required to work longer hours in order to make up for the reduction in funding. As a consequence, the nurses are becoming exhausted, which has a severe impact on the overall functioning of the hospital. Based on this scenario, provide a strategic initiative for Lurie's Children's Hospital using one of the examples above.
