Question Answered step-by-step Spirituality means different things to different people. For some,it’s primarily about a belief in God and active participation in organized religion. For others, it’s about non-religious experiences that help them get in touch with their spiritual selves through quiet reflection, time in nature, private prayer, yoga, or meditation. (Psychology Today, 2020) One may call to God and other high powers which is religious spirituality, while others may believe that humans and humanity are sacred or may even hold nature or environment as sacred, (Worthington, E. J., & Allison, S. T. (2018)). My own worldview of spirituality is open ended or agnostic, i believe this allows me to open up and respect others beliefs as well. Spiritually can be God or in other religious other gods. When taking care of patients, I respect and show compassion for other beliefs even if it is not Christianity. I may not understand or believe their ways but providing respect for someone who is sick can possibly make them feel better whether physically or spiritually.
