The purpose of this study, which is being conducted by researchers at Bagong Barrio Senior High School, is to determine why some students in the eleventh grade of the ABM Strand are having difficulty in their FABM subject they are studying at the school. Even though students were instructed by the same professors and provided the same facilities and study materials, there was still a considerable discrepancy in their academic outcomes, according to research conducted by Siti and Nurfarizan et al, (2010). The academic performance of a student is susceptible to being influenced by a wide range of external factors. The factors that contribute to a student’s academic achievement have been the subject of a significant amount of investigation, and these findings have been compiled in a number of studies. There is not a significant association between the attitude of the ABM students and their academic achievement in the Fundamentals of Accounting and Business Management, according to Gadiano et al. (2019). According to the findings of their research, a teacher in the Fundamentals of Accountancy, Business and Management strand had noted that the majority of the students in the ABM strand struggle with comprehending the concepts that are presented in their subject area. The mentality of a student may be tied to his or her approach to studying the foundations of accounting, which can be thought of as a mindset.
