Question Problem Set 2: The Two-factor ANOVA for Independent Measures… Problem Set 2: The Two-factor ANOVA for Independent MeasuresResearch Scenario: A group of clinical psychologists sets up a treatment study to look at the effects of treatment type and treatment setting (community clinic or university clinic) on symptom severity in a sample of patients with diagnosed Major Depressive Disorder. They recruit 12 participants from each type of clinic, and divide them further into two groups, one of which receives cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and one of which receives psychodynamic (PD) therapy. The psychologists measure depressive symptomology using the Beck Depression Inventory (Beck et al., 1961), and scores can range from 0 to 62. Their results are in the table below. Using this table, enter the data into a new SPSS data file and run a two-way ANOVA to test whether there is an effect of clinic type and/or treatment type on BDI scores. Create a multiple line graph to display the differences between the groups. Follow the directions below the table to complete the homework.  Community Clinic University Clinic CBT36321925273112272029 PD24413812464221375319 Social Science Psychology B03 605 Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
