Students will write a 500-word (maximum) essay that addresses their experiences and evolution. At a minimum, the essay should include the following:Ethical beliefs – Describe your ethical stance and reference aspects of the nursing profession (safe patient care, treatment of care, cultural diversity, etc.).Perception of care – Describe what the nursing profession means to you and how you can facilitate safe patient care to all clients regardless of race, culture, and ethnicityGoals and strategies (personal and professional) – Describe your personal goals and your goals in the profession. Include strategies for obtaining your goals while maintaining a healthy life, work, school balance. Setting a timeline to the goals may help make them more realistic and attainable.A declaration – Explain how you will motivate yourself and others during times of challenge and times of normalcy.
