I am majoring in Communications with a focus in Public Relations. I have been in and out of college since graduating high school and have finally decided to go back and obtain my bachelors from SNHU. After graduating I want to work on a PR team for Disney. Communication is extremely important in my career field because I will be working on maintaining a large company’s reputation. I pride myself in having pretty good communication skills. From past job experience I have learned to be open and honest, to express empathy and sympathy, to be able to listen and understand what I’m hearing, and to be tactful with my words. I’m a big extrovert so public speaking and demanding the attention of an audience come easily to me. I do struggle with anxiety that can make me hesitant to express myself in certain situations and my emotions sometimes make me react quickly without thinking. I am constantly learning about myself and trying to improve.
