List at least 2 specific actions.  First answer: We are the richest nation in the world.  We have to first address our issues here within our own community and states before we can help someone else. We have a major crisis right here with all these homeless people and most of them have mental issues that need to be addressed.  Once we take care of them, we should reach out to other nations and help provide them with food, shelter, clean water, and housing.  Everything should not be based on religion or skin color.  We are all one nation that should be working together to enhance one another.  We should teach our families to have compassion for the less fortunate.  Right now we must take care of our own people. I would love to donate to others once my finances get better.  My heart goes out to the less fortunate than myself. Second answer: Yes I find the videos surprising, but on the other hand every country has their own agenda as far as the needs of its citizen. For instance in China and Russian,  the law’s and regulations prevent their citizens from accessing information by blocking social media and other technology. The system in place for these counties explains the gaps in wages and stable living conditions, not setup to support decent living wages around the world. At the local level, finding a better solution for waste collection along with housing for the homeless. Nationally we need to re-evaluate programs such as the criminal justice system and the foster care system to stop recidivism and classes which educate parents as well as their children. Globally we need to reduce our carbon footprint, with installation of more drinking fountains and bio degradable plastics produced with renewable raw materials. What I can do is inform people to become more aware of their carbon footprint and the impact it is leaving behind.
