One of these is the nurses being extraordinarily resilient being. According to Kester (2018), resilience is the ability to face any unfavorable happenings, endure hardships and remain full of hope anytime. Anyone can show an act of resilience at any time, but how they show it is different from these nurses. Where can you see any profession where a person is being bullied, physically and mentally hurt by their patient and their families? After those acts, these employees that we call nurses can still run a code that can vary from a simple successful one or a very traumatic ending. If they survive, they will still have to deal with them to keep them alive. Pandemic or no pandemic, these kinds of people can handle any kind or number of patients that the hospital will throw at them. Most of the time, they can be out of ratios. At the same time, their other colleagues will stay afloat in their departments and will not even take any extra patients. These are just a few inequalities that are happening everywhere and will continue to happen, but regardless of difficulties, these nurses will still show resiliency even if they are dying inside already. I am sure that there are more difficult jobs compared to this profession, but most of them work in a controlled environment with no threats to them or even there is one those are the ones who can fight back on those threats that, unlike these poor nurses who need to smile when a problem is being thrown upon them. Jean Watson (2011) has developed a theoretical framework, specifically the Theory of Human caring, that states that the care for the patients will go beyond just treating the disease but seeing and loving them with spiritual guidance.
