This movement happened a year ago, but still, I remember, and let me tell you about this in detail. As I looked back a year ago, I had an arrogant person who didn’t care about anything busy in my own life. One older woman came near me with a doctor’s prescription and said I needed your kind help when I returned from the supermarket. She wants some 50 dollars for her husband’s treatment. I was inconsiderate and would not offer assistance to her. At home, I was going over in my mind what had happened. I understand this could have happened to anyone in her life. I need some money. I was guilty. I can’t find peace in that older woman’s face in my mind. I can’t forget that night, so I decided to help her in the morning. I went to the supermarket to find that older woman, but I didn’t find her. I will wait till evening to see if she comes again. My bad luck was that I couldn’t find her near the street. I asked many people if they had seen an older woman needing help, but still, I couldn’t find her. I left for home with guilt and feeling so sad about this all I had done. I was in tears. I prayed to God to please help that older woman heal her husband and forgive me, Lord, for my mistake. After that, I promised myself that I would never judge a person. If you are in a position to help others, so help them, don’t misbehave and talk disrespectfully, especially with elders from that day, to overcome my guilt of not helping that older woman. If anyone asks me to help, I help them without any judgment possible. I never say no to anyone till today.
