Each child was shown 40 photographs which were on the screen for 5 seconds, while their eye movements were recorded. There were 2 types of faces that were shown. On half of the trials, the embedded faces showed an angry expression. On the other half, the embedded faces showed a happy expression. The measure of interest was the time that the children first fixated (i.e., looked at) the person shown in the image (in milliseconds). This measure captures how rapidly the child detected the person.  The dataset includes one column which represents the IV (Independent Variable), and two that represent the two DVs (Dependent Variable – Happy and Angry emotions). There is also a column with the age of the participants.
