Question Answered step-by-step I need answers for this discussion board with two references Hemolytic anemia’s usually become inherited when parents pass the genetics to their children. If it is not something you’re born with, you will eventually develop the condition later on in life. The etiologies for these conditions vary. If it is genetically passed, its obvious to why you have it, but what about the people who acquired it? The people who inherited this passed the gene to their children. This condition produces produces red blood cells that expire more quickly then normal red blood cells. The people who have acquired an anemia develop normal red blood cells early in life but later get destroyed. There can be many causes to this such as blood cancers, tumors, certain medications (acetaminophen), autoimmune disorders (lupus, rheumatoid arthritis), and certain infections (viral and bacterial). Some types of anemia (acquired) are short term and can be temporary, others can be life long (chronic). Coming and going as it pleases.
