I disagree with the verdict of not guilty in the Kenneth Parks…
Question Answered step-by-step I disagree with the verdict of not guilty in the Kenneth Parks… I disagree with the verdict of not guilty in the Kenneth Parks case. The patient would of needed to go through extensive screenings and test.My question is, ” was there any drugs or alcohol involved in this case”? There is a history of cases that link alcohol intake to sleepwalking and sleep related violence.Sleepwalking consists of a sequence of complex behaviors that begin in the 1st third of the night during NREM sleep. Individuals walk around not being fully conscious. The individual may dress, go to the bathroom, leave the house and in some extreme cases drive a car. In my opinion Kenneth Parks would have awoken during the killings. In previous cases forensic psychologist have proven that murders could be committed while sleeping, this resulted in cases concluding with a not guilty verdict. Prosecutors would have to dig deep to find out if the murder was intentional and pre meditated. Social Science Psychology PSY 101 Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
