He just learned of a new diabetes medication that was recently released, and he writes a clear aim to guide a project- he wants to use this medication with his panel of patients. He sets up a small electronic database of his patients who have diabetes and sends out a letter to to every other patient on the list, informing them that they will be starting on this new medication.
