His vitals were stable in PACU. Airways were clear, he was on O2 21pm, breathing unlabored, pulse ox was 98%, capillary refill <2 secs, he has a foley catheter and I emptied 300 ml right before transfer. He has a GCS of 14. He has no episodes of nausea or vomiting. His surgical site is covered with a 4x4 and some tape. No drainage presents. He has had some postoperative pain, we gave 25 mcgs of fentanyl in the PACU. He does have some post-operative orders in his chart. Hal was seen in his PCP's office yesterday for abdominal pain. They scheduled for laparoscopic appendectomy. He ruptured during surgery, and they opened him to perform peritoneal antibiotic cleanse. He has been in PACU for two hours and he is now cleared to be transferred to the MedSurg Unit.
