Question Answered step-by-step Good evening, Please, can you discuss these tow topic below?… Good evening,Please, can you discuss these tow topic below?Thanks..1. If my friend owned a window-washing business that started to grow to the point t where it needed extra employees, I would advise him to first make sure that those he is interviewing are qualified to wash windows. If my friend owns a wind washing business in New York City, employees that he hires will have to not be afraid of height. Before the interview, I would suggest that he calls the person’s references listed on their job application to hear if other people think that he is qualified. The most important thing he would need to be able to do is be able to clean a window well. If the applicant cannot then I would not even consider him for the spot. The goal of the interview would be to determine if the applicant has the knowlegde, skills, and abilities to complete the specific task. If they understand how to clean windows then they have the knowledge. If their references can attest to whether they can  or not then we will know they have the skill to. And finally, if we know if this person is not afraid of heights we will know that nothing could hinder them from competing their task. 2. Some advice that I would provide to my friend with the new business regarding interviewing is to find overall well fitting candidates. When proceeding with the interview it is very important to ask essential questions that is deemed important to the company. Such as asking the individual about their career goals and the long term plan or idea that they have in mind at that moment. On the other hand there are questions that should never be asked in such job interviews, like asking about age, religion, family, disability, birthplace, and more that relates to anything being able to be disciminated against. Since this is against the law, because we want to ensure that everyone has the same opportunity as any other capable candidate. Moving onto other aspects, it is also important to look into their previous work areas to see if they can be a good fit for the current company. Not only that but analyzing their personality a little more in depth can be a big factor when interviewing people as it can truly show how they can benefit you and the overall company. As those who have a great work ethic and do well with other coworkers tend to be the best candidates for jobs.  Social Science Psychology EDUCATION 54321 Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
