Family Dynamics of Domestic Abuse

Assignment 1 This topic will be comparing and contrasting traumatic bonding, Stockholm syndrome and domestic abuse.

This will include:

  • Introduction – include a brief overview of domestic abuse.
  • A description of Traumatic Bonding, utilizing the literature.
  • A description of Stockholm Syndrome, utilizing the literature and course reading.
  • An analysis of the similarities and differences between Stockholm and Traumatic Bonding.
  • An analysis of how traumatic bonding impacts relationships characterized by domestic abuse.
  • Provide a conclusion.
