Case/ReferenceAlleana, a 28 year old pregnant woman has had his check up with her OB-Gyne for a routine maternal panel  work-up. She is on her 24th week of pregnancy. She and her husband has no history of Diabetes but has been quite generous to their eating habits. Lately, she  has been obssessing with milk tea, cakes and other sweets to satisfy her sweet-tooth cravings. She appears to be healthy as she had been exercising and jogging every morning.  Over the past week, she had fever that lasted 3 days with a temperature of 38.4°C which prompted her recent  consultation with the OB-Gyne. The doctor asked for the frequency of her urge to urinate especially at night and to confirm that she has been  experiencing such as well. She thought that it was only an effect of her increased thirst. Over the past month,  she has been feeling those consistently and even experiencing random episodes of chills and fatigues. Upon request of tests associated with her condition, she was requested with blood works and urinalysis. She was  instructed to fast for 8 hours which she complied with. She had her blood work around 09:00 am of the following day  and submitted her urine 15 minutes thereafter as she waited again for the urge to urinate.
