In this part of the project you should answer the following questions:
“President Joe Biden announced an ambitious new national climate target at a
livestreamed summit of world leaders on April 22, 2021. He pledged to cut US
carbon emissions in half by the end of this decade and aim for net zero emissions
by 2050.” Evaluate these goals from the point of view of economic efficiency.
Apply the environmental economic theory you studied in Weeks 13. Explain
why it would not be desirable (from the point of view of economic efficiency) to
eliminate all carbon emissions?
Suggest a setting in which zero pollution might be efficient. For this question you
can use any type of pollution, not only carbon.

waste.
Determine the ways how to reduce your current carbon emissions.
Compare your carbon footprint with the national average data.

PRESENTATION OF PAPER AND WRITING (12% of the project grade):
The project should have a title and headings that separate each individual section.
Please use the subheadings included in these assignment instructions. All three parts
should be submitted in single file. (4% of the project grade)
Logical and Smooth Flowing Transitions and Relationships among Sections of the
Written Report (3% of the project grade)
Research Sources and Significance of Research Information and Data, Use of APA
