Pyramids in Egypt are a known fact; however, many people do not know that there are pyramids all over. They had pyramids in China, Italy, and even in Mexico. Pyramids in Egypt were used as tombs, slaves worked their entire life building these pyramids for pharaohs. In China, pyramids were built for similar reasons, and for people of power, like emperors. Mexican pyramids were built for the same reasons and used as sacrificial and religious landmarks. The closer you are to the sky, the closer you are to the gods. I also found it was interesting how hierarchy was established in all these cultures. Pyramids in none of these cases were built by volunteers, they were built by slaves, who in many cases, died building these structures, and it became their graves as well. Like the pyramids, there have been many other things that have been found to be veery similar. For example, tools, stone arts, and even where they decided to build their homes and villages. How is this possible?
