The researchers selected six students from Laguna State Polytechnic University- Santa Cruz Campus who live-through through the sudden shift of classes from being face-to-face to online. The researchers used phenomenology as the research method through interviews with open-ended questions. The data gathered upon the interview with the selected students were analyzed and interpreted using the Thematic Analysis. The gathered data revealed that Psychology students experienced comfort in a certain learning setting. They had a certain preference for specific learning that they had experienced and made learning easy. They also underwent personal development where they learned to adjust and cope with the transition of educational setting. Also, they experienced hassles during the transition where they had a rough time which made managing hard for them. Then the participants also encountered issues during the transition, classified as internal and external issues. They faced internal issues, which included emotional problems and physical problems. Then they also faced external issues such as technical and environmental problems. They managed to overcome it using their strategic response to the issues they had developed for their survival. Lastly, the participants perceived limited face-to-face as an efficient learning setting where it increases students’ learning and the efficiency of teaching professors. They are also worried about the possible outcome of a limited face-to-face setting as it is not as effective as limited face-to-face, and they fear for their health because of the ongoing pandemic.
