Question A 42-year-old Caucasian man with a history of myocardial… A 42-year-old Caucasian man with a history of myocardial infarction/post stent is being seen in theinternal medicine clinic for a follow-up visit and complaint of mild chest pain. He has a family historyof heart disease; his father died of a heart attack at 45. His brother is 39 years old with no knownheart disease. He was not raised with religious faith. He is recently divorced, and his 10-year-old sonlives with his mother in a nearby state. His MI history included the following: high blood pressure inthe ER of 190/110, chest pain 10/10 midsternal, shortness of breath, nausea with emesis, EKG withanterolateral ST elevation, and lipid panel with normal values. He was diagnosed with left anteriordescending artery occlusion of 60% & received angioplasty with stent placement 2 months before thisclinic visit.
