Question Answered step-by-step Research question : Is there a difference between the amount of… Research question: Is there a difference between the amount of public disclosure individuals participate in on social media based on whether they were born before or after January 1, 1990?MethodParticipantsIn total, 24 people participated in the survey. All reported the level of internet exposure theyhave experienced through social media, e-mails, and other technology mediated channels. Intotal there were 17 males and 7 females. 10 of the participants were born in the year 1999 topresent and 14 were born in the years before 1999. The ethnicity/ race averages are broken downas ( insert averages).InstrumentationEach answer on the questionnaire will be scored on a scale of 1 to 3. 1 being this person is atmost risk to disclosure and 3 being someone who is secure about the information they discloseon the internet.ResultsThe first hypothesis predicted that those who were born before the year 1999 are less vulnerable to cyberattacks or disclosing sensitive information on the internet due to lack of usage of social media and internetservices. Results from that questionnaire revealed that those born before 1999 on average scored 2.67 andthose born after the year 1999 on average scored 3.8. Questioning the knowledge and usage of theparticipants’ internet knowledge resulted in those born before the year 1999 mostly answered neutral ordisagree, which means they are less likely to cyber attacks.
