Who are you? What are your interests? What are your goals? Challenges? How can I best support you in your learning? also write as a high school student. example Good morning, My name is Daniella, and I will be your teacher for this course. This is my first year teaching adults, and I am looking forward to it. Previously, I have taught high school English in London, but I taught for two years in England before that. I was born in London and still live here with my parents. I am very close to my family, and you will hear me talk about them a lot. My sister is my best friend, and she just went to England to do her Masters. I miss her a lot. I have loved reading since I was young. I could read before Kindergarten, and I never leave the house without a book in my bag. English is my passion, and I bring that to my teaching. I have known I was going to be teacher since I was eight years old. I also ski in the winter and enjoy going to dance classes. However, I had knee surgery in June after a bad ski injury, so those activities have been on hold. As I mentioned before, this is my first time teaching adults. One of the things I love about teaching is that I get to learn from my students even more than you learn from me. My goal is to always become better at what I do, and you can help me do that. Bringing your expertise and life experience to my classroom will result in everyone coming together in unique ways. For my classes, my goal is for everyone to be included and feel successful. In terms of the support I can offer, the key is communication. If you do not tell me if you are struggling with something, I cannot help you. I am open to changing the way I teach if it makes it better for you. I want to build you up and allow you to move forward from this course, but only through communication am I able to place the stepping stones you need. Something I tell all my students is that you need to take an active part in your own education. Overall, I am very much looking forward to working with you. I am very much looking forward to hearing your response and learning all about you. Sincerely,D. Poloni Arts & Humanities Writing WRIT 1032 Share QuestionEmailCopy link Comments (0)
