Patient has alcohol withdrawal syndrome. concepts are addiction and fluid and electrolytes. mediation related to this issue include librium, Ativan, ondansetron, magnesium oxide, enoxaparin, citalopram and acetaminophen. sodium, potassium, mag, and platelets were all low. glucose bilirubin, ALT, AST, BUN all high. ECG monitor showed normal sinus with premature ventricular beat, chest x-ray normal. patient hallucinating, tremors, diaphoresis, agitation, irritability on first day, second day all s/s subsided, urine was red tinted, gait unstable. abnormal vitals: pain 6 (head), and BP 101/67.
