Less conclusive, lack of breathing and heartbeat. The signs are no longer guaranteed to be signs of death due to some technological advancement that has been perfected to aid the lungs and heart in functioning artificially as in resuscitation. Such a mechanism of resuscitation restores and sends blood through the body even if the unity of the body ceases to exist. Be that as it may, it does not lead to the conclusion that an individual organ simulatesunity, unity, or organism is no longer present because the organs would cease to exist right away if the mechanism were removed. Thus, artificial sustained heart and lung activity is not proof that human life still remains. That is why, as long as this heart and lung are sustained by a mechanical device that runs artificially, the traditional basis of death is impossible to verify. Thus, we ask the question: what then is the basis, or are there other clinical signs that can be used to express the same essential fact, namely the irreversible cessation of spontaneous heart and lung functions, rather than a new definition of death?  Aside from the new technology used, another reason is the possible organ transplant of the heart and kidney. It is said that the success of heart transplantation will likely be very high if the organs are harvested from a body through which blood is circulating. Hence, surgeons kept the body alive in a therespirator. So then, how is it possible to be sure that the donor is in fact dead? Signs of a dead person1. Cardiovascular disease clinical signs (when the patient is not on a respirator)Thus, dependence on technology must be moderated rather than encouraged.2. The new clinical sign must be identified by well-trained professionals (the basis must be properly observed) for no less than 24 hours when it uses the EEG, or electroencephalogram, as it is done in the USA under the Harvard Criteria for Brain Death of 1968. This medication is prescribed to treat hypothermia and drug-induced comas. But today, short intervals within 6 hours are now allowed, and the EEG is being replaced by an angiogram (which is an apparatus to test the blood flow in the cerebellum of the patient).
